Ole Mole is a long time staple of Rocky Point. The concept was created by an Arizona Native and a beach vendor many years ago. The Mole comes from the multi-generational family recipe in Oaxaca. This is made in house and probably the best mole I have had world-wide. It is rich, complex and authentic.
The coconut shrimp is amazing. Sourced from the docks daily, the shrimp has that amazing Rocky Point taste. The taste being slightly sweet, a bit of a chew and delightful to the senses. The Chiles rellenos & enchiladas are always recommended by repeat visitors. They are stuffed, sauced, and satisfying. They of course offer other menu items include fish tacos, tortilla soup, and occasional breakfast dishes, plus mezcal samples in flavors like passion fruit or jamaica.
The pricing is comparable to other local restaurants. As I have said before, the American owned and touristy restaurants are charging Scottsdale, Arizona prices. Avoid these places. Shop local. This as most local establishments are cash only. Pesos or American dollars work fine.
The staff is amazing. Sindi, the owner will come out and sit with you, talking about her Rocky Point life, offering suggestions for other eateries, and laughing about life. You may end up on the Facebook or Instagram page.
